FAQ
Applicator Questions, Straight Answers
Will it really run through my existing Schutz gun?
Yes. SprayShield Pro is viscosity-matched to standard undercoating guns at 70–100 PSI. Use the tip chart we ship with your first order; most shops run their usual texture tip for underbody work and the 360° wand nozzle for cavities.
How many vehicles per case?
A typical pickup underbody at 40–60 mils uses 8–10 one-liter bottles; a sedan uses 5–7. A 12-bottle case covers roughly one large or two small vehicles — wholesale accounts usually stock by the drum-equivalent pallet.
What is the minimum prep you will stand behind?
Pressure-wash, full dry-down, mechanical removal of loose scale, and a degrease wipe. Tight surface rust can stay — the membrane seals it. Skip the wash-and-dry step and no coating on earth will save the job.
How soon can the vehicle leave?
Tack-free in under ten minutes and drive-away the same day. Tell customers to avoid pressure-washing the underbody for 24 hours while full cure completes.
What are the wholesale terms?
Tiered case and pallet pricing with net terms for established shops. Franchise supply agreements and jobber distributor pricing are quoted separately — use the form and tell us your monthly vehicle volume.
How does it hold up against rubberized undercoating?
Rubberized products crack at impact sites and trap moisture against the steel. SprayShield Pro stays elastic to -40°F, resists gravel strikes, and will not peel or crack — which is why we back professional applications with a workmanship-friendly film warranty program.
