SprayShield Pro

For Applicators

Made for the Gun in Your Hand

If you rustproof vehicles for a living, your workflow is built around the Schutz-style undercoating gun: a threaded one-liter bottle, a regulator set around 90 PSI, and a wand that reaches into frame rails and rocker cavities. SprayShield Pro was formulated backwards from that gun. The viscosity is dialed so it atomizes cleanly at shop-air pressure, hangs on vertical surfaces without sagging, and builds 40 mils in two passes without runs.

That matters because most "tough" coatings on the market were formulated for plural-component rigs that cost more than a used car. SprayShield Pro gives independent applicators plural-rig chemistry — a true polyurea film — in a single-leg package your existing equipment already handles.

The Jobs It Was Born For

Underbody packages. Floor pans, frame rails, crossmembers, wheel wells. Two passes to 40–60 mils and the customer can see the difference on the lift — a uniform, textured, deep-black membrane instead of a drippy oil sheen.

Cavity and seam work. Swap to the extension wand and 360° nozzle for inner rockers, doors and pillar cavities. The material wicks into pinch-weld seams where brines collect, then sets into a flexible plug that vibration cannot shake loose.

Trailers, plows and municipal iron. The same bottle-and-gun setup handles landscape trailers, plow frames and salt-spreader housings — equipment that lives in electrolyte all winter. Offer it as an off-season revenue line when vehicle traffic slows.

Restoration shops. Classic floor pans and inner fenders get sealed permanently after metal repair, instead of re-rusting under seam sealer within a decade.

Prep, Pass, Profit

Rust is an electrochemical circuit: steel gives up electrons wherever moisture carrying dissolved salt bridges the surface. Every coating that works, works the same way — it breaks the moisture path. The difference is how long the barrier survives. Oils migrate and drip. Waxes embrittle. Rubberized undercoats crack at stone-chip sites and quietly trap moisture underneath, which is why "undercoated" trucks sometimes rot faster. A cross-linked polyurea neither cracks nor creeps, so the barrier you spray in October is the barrier still there five winters later.

Your process stays familiar: pressure-wash the underbody and let it dry, knock down loose scale, degrease, mask brake components, exhaust and driveline, then spray. Tack-free in minutes; the vehicle rolls out the same afternoon. A two-tech bay can turn six to eight underbody packages a day, and at typical package pricing the material cost is a fraction of the ticket. We publish the per-vehicle material math for wholesale accounts — ask and we will send it.
